I used the Lawno for the first time last weekend. I'm very impressed with how it works. I have a disability so the fact it has wheels is awesome. I don't have to carry it i can just roll it along to where I need it. When I do need to pick it up it's weight is not a problem. So now I don't have to wait until hubby comes home to do the edges. At first, I was sceptical about how lightweight the lawn gadget was, but I was very impressed with how well it handled my overgrown, thick edges. I ended up using 3 trimmers to get the job done, but I know it will only require one in the future if I do it regularly. That is the best thing about it, as it is so easy to use. Just click on the battery and go. Not having to thread a cord or deal with the usual jamming, but just using the supplied tool to undo the head and pop on a new one in literally 30 seconds is a game changer. I didn't even have to change anything to use it as a whipper snipper to do around poles or trees. I just turned it on its side. Because it is so lightweight, it didn't gouge into the grass or leave any evidence like others do by cutting lower than the mowed grass. It arrived in 2 days in perfect packaging with very easy-to-follow assembly instructions. I will no longer have to prepare or make time to do the lawns. I would compare it to the same thing as using a battery-operated blower. No waiting for the right time or conditions, and with zero effort. My lawn and edges now look like they never need doing. I am a very short 66-year-old female who has had multiple surgeries on my back and hip and who always struggled with equipment being too long, heavy and time-consuming. Finally, a company that recognises that gardening equipment needs to be designed to be simple enough for all demographics. See more

My lawnmower man was not doing my edges the way I wanted them done. So I started trying to do them myself, using my secateurs. This was back breaking! Luckily I saw an advertisement for the Lawno. Most of us have had a bad experience buying online, well let me prove to you Gardeners Crate will never let you down. They promise a worry-free 3 year warrant and they absolutely stand by it. After just a couple of months of using my Lawno almost every day, I warn you its addictive, it’s that good, but without warning it suddenly had a problem that I could not figure or fix. Contacted Gardeners Crate support team who came back to me same day. They sincerely did everything to help identify the problem, including a video, and how I might fix it. Obvious this was not a common problem, just a freak, random part failure. Without hesitation, they sent me a brand-new replacement, not a second hand refurbished, no what arrived was a brand-new machine. My son told me to keep the broken one for spare parts, I think that’s a man thing? See more

Outstanding!! . I’m 61 with a decades old back injury and a recent total knee replacement that have restricted doing mowing and strimming. Like many I was sceptical but with the 30 day trial, I thought why not give this a try My Lawno arrived today which was ahead of expected shipping date. The hardest part of setting it up was actually, no joke, getting it out of the box! Once I’d managed that, the instructions are super easy to follow and I had it put together and was grass cutting in under 20 minutes. Sections of the grass were above knee hight and only once did it wrap around and stop the cutter. Easy to fix by simply pulling out the grass like you would pull long hair out of a curled brush. It took longer to rake and brush up than it did to cut and trim all the very out of control grass. I can’t recommend The Lawno enough. It is brilliant. See more

Thoughtfully packaged, easy to assemble, excellent instructions and YouTube guides, excellent communication. For once you feel like you are dealing with genuine and nice people! Like many tools, it will take me a while to master it. My first attempt was fairly successful - I have some challenging lawns and edges. Having said that, it is 1,000 times better than my old whipper snipper. I have now thrown that out!!!! PS it is powerful too. Recomended. See more

Machine is very light and easy to use, excellent for a wiper sniper or edging. No more pain in the arms or shoulders like other machines. Instructions are easy to follow and good manuals with examples. I contacted with customer service in a very fast , honest and reliable way. Order arrived when expected and included lots of printed and electronic information. The machine is sturdier than expected and easy to assemble. My 10 year old granddaughter put it together by following the very clear instructions. As mentioned by others and as expected, the mower function is only up to doing very small areas of lawn. It is ideal for a small enclosed courtyard area of our garden and the flip down guard protects the shrubs and flowers when mowing around those garden edges. The trimmer and edger handle very stubborn buffalo grass really well. Its size and ease of use makes it really handy for quick tidy up jobs. Keep your larger mower for the heavy duty and large areas. After reading previous reviews and website advice I purchased a spare battery. The machine has met all expectations and we are very satisfied with our purchase. See more

I was looking for something to cut our grass which was smaller than a lawn mower and not a whipper snipper which I had to lift whilst it did it’s thing. I read about lawno from Gardeners Crate and bought one. Their instructions to put together came in paper nor email - both of which were very easy to follow. On my first attempt to mow it would only wrap the grass into balls and not cut it. I contacted Gardeners Crate and they got back to me straight away and told me how to fix it. Absolutely love my Lawno! After previously purchasing cheaper versions of this, that only lasted for a few months, I purchased my Lawno. I wish I had done it sooner. So easy to use, a heavyweight tool, that is lightweight to use. Speedy delivery, easy to put together. Battery lasts almost an hour. Easy to clean after use. After waiting what seemed ages for my Lawno, after putting it together and trying it out, the wheels kept falling off! I wrote to gardenerscrate saying how disappointed I was and they replied straight away. After suggesting what might be wrong, we tightened this and clicked that and all is working perfectly, including the mowing. Like others i was sceptical , we have a relatively small grass area (170sq meters) and have very large and heavy lawn equipment. This lawno does what it says..edging and trimming second to none.mowing for very small areas great. See more

My Husband can now cope with the tall weeds that used to get the whipper snipper all tangled up in. At 82 and a hilly acre it’s so much lighter for him to carry aound. The lawns get done more often now couldn’t have asked for anything better than the Lawno thanks Guys much appreciated. See more

The Lawno is a good little machine and it works well! Its great as I don't have to lift it, just cut the grass with the wheels running along the ground. No stress on the shoulders & arms. A light machine. I do reccommend the Lawno as it makes life easier for you! See more
